About
About Why Gold Moved
Why Gold Moved explains gold news in plain English, fast.
Gold news is usually written for professionals. We turn it into a simple verdict: what the news usually means for gold (bullish, bearish or neutral), and one plain line on why.
Everything is written for beginners and for people who find long financial text hard to read. Short lines, plain words, the answer first. This site uses a typeface designed to be easy to read.
What we do
- Telegram (free): a morning brief, verdicts after big news, a daily round-up, and weekend lessons.
- X: the same verdicts, short.
- This website: the live gold price, today's gold news, a news calendar for your phone, market hours, and free guides.
What we don't do
- No trading signals, tips or calls.
- No price predictions or targets.
- No advice on what you should do with your money.
A verdict is the textbook reading of the news, for learning. Gold often does something different, and we explain that too.
How we check our work
Posts are fact-checked before they go out, and every public post is checked again each night. If we get a fact wrong, we post a correction.
